ABOUT US

photo booth Greensboro

"Andy is a warm and inviting photographer who makes every person who steps foot in the booth have fun, let loose, and take the best possible pictures."

I am Andy Cox, a professional photographer from Greensboro, NC. My photography career began when my father, an amateur photographer with over 30 years of experience, put a camera in my hands and started an undying passion for capturing life through photography. After three years of mentoring and apprenticing under my father, I began college training in art and photography at Pitt Community College in Winterville, NC. Two years of formal academic training and a move to Greensboro led me into the world of professional photography. I've now been covering Camp Barefoot Music and Arts Festival in Bartow, WV since 2007, and was a member of the FloydFest staff in 2011, 2012, and 2013. I've also covered local North Carolina music festivals such as The BIG What!? (hosted by the band Big Something) and MantraBash (hosted by The Mantras). I’ve been building and developing many different projects, from live-performance photography and event photography to school and family portraiture. One such project, the Photobooth: by Andy Cox Photography, has now been built into a viable venture with interest coming from many parties including schools, venues, festivals, weddings and corporate events.

With the help of my fiance and coowner Megan Moulton, the Photobooth: by Andy Cox Photography is growing everyday. Megan is bravely taking on the "front-of-house", such as the props and the prints, and is bringing new ideas and direction to the booth. Our shared passion for photography and fun creates an experience inside the booth that we love to share with others and hope to share with you!
